Latest Update

We are on our way to the FIRST World Championship in St. Louis !!

FRC Team 1073 is soooo excited! After being part of the winning alliance at the Southern NH District Event, and winning the Safety and Industrial Design Awards, we qualified to compete at the New England District Championships at UNH! The entire team worked on the robot, updated our scouting app, continued to write autonomous programs, and planned out what we would do at the competition. The New England District Championship was a very competitive event, each time a team won or loss a match they could jump up or down 10 to 20 slots in the ranks. With the top 64 of the 194 New England teams competing we definitely had the best teams at UNH! Team 1073 was picked by the #1 alliance to enter into the elimination rounds, and eliminate we did. Although there were many tough competitors, we were able to advance and finally win the NE District Championships! At the end of the competition, FRC 1073 is ranked 9th in the New England District and we qualify to go to the World Championship in St. Louis, MO. We will be traveling and attending 'Worlds' from April 25- May 1.

We are very fortunate to have such great sponsors over the years that support our STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities, but we would like to ask for a little more help. We would like to bring all available students to St. Louis. With 41 people attending we are asking for donations to help offset travel costs for the students, the robot, and the tools. Any donation would be appreciated to help the students experience a FIRST Robotics World Comepetition where 400 teams from around the worlds will get together to not just compete, but to learn from each other - how do you run a team of over 50 students and build a successful robot in less than 6 weeks?

Donations checks can be made out to "HBHS" and addressed to:

Team Info

The Force Team, FIRST Team #1073, is a high school FIRST Robotics Competition team from Hollis, NH. Our base of operations is at Hollis/Brookline High School where we garner students from the towns of Hollis and Brookline.

Our team mimics the real-world, corporate business structure with student leadership consisting of two co-CEOs and several VPs for each subgroup: Business, Electrical, Integration, Mechanical, Software, and Strategy. The team values their influence over the community and constantly works to host community events and connect with other teams at off-season competitions. This does more than build a network of sponsors and supporters, it also allows team members create stronger friendships and gain new insights from their experienced peers.

Annually, Team 1073 hosts Jr. FIRST Lego League and FIRST Lego League tournaments annually, with a roster that grows larger and larger with each passing season. Through these events, we can encourage young students who are interested in science and technology to continue their participation in FIRST by joining FTC or FRC teams. In this way, we have built strong relationships with and gained the support of sponsors, other FRC teams, and the entire community.
